Having just carried out a particularly difficult hit in London, two hitmen seek shelter in Bruges, Belgium, only to find their views on life and death permanently altered by their interactions with the locals, the tourists, and a film crew. Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Ralph Fiennes star in an action comedy from director Martin McDonagh. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie GuideBasically a Greek Trajedy with no matter what the characters try to do nothing seems to change the destiny that their boss has set out for them. Even jumping off the top of the Church tower to a horrible death does not alter the course of events. Although the down beat ending and justice is only served when another innocent person dies, I did like the special features especially the boat trip through Bruges. Looks like a great place to visit.
Theatrical Feature Running Time: 107 mins
In Bruges (2008)
Even though the boss was basically evil (leaving out that he was a father and all), he did have some good lines when another hood got himself shot in the face with his own gun by Farrell.
